Store Closure

We made the incredibly difficult decision to close the Loake Shoemaker Canterbury Store which ceased trading on 20th May 2023.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who supported the business over the six year we were open

About The Store

Burgate

The Canterbury store began trading in June 2017 and closed May 2023 it was situated in the beautiful Buttermarket area of the city, directly opposite the historic world heritage site that is Canterbury Cathedral. The Buttermarket square is over 800 years old and overflows with character from its surroundings which was emulated in store with an exquisite store fitting. It had a real boutique feeling and a personal customer experience like no other, this was a gem to visited.
